Attractions for the 3 Days Tsavo East and Taita saltlick from Mombasa by Road

Wildlife likely to be seen while on the 3 Days Tsavo East and Taita saltlick Safari from Mombasa by Road: elephant, lion, leopard, crocodile, waterbuck, kudu, gerenuk, zebra, Hunter’s Hartebeest etc. Over 500 bird species including ostrich, migratory kestrels, buzzards, weaver birds, African fish eagle etc.
Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo East
You will be picked from your hotel in the morning then drive along the Mombasa-Nairobi road to Tsavo East National park. Enter the park via Bachuma gate and embark on game viewing drive with chances of encountering Elephants, Lions, Buffalos, Cheetah, Zebras, Giraffe, and Antelopes etc. You will then visit the famous Aruba dam where lots of game animals and bird species can be found especially during the dry spell. Then proceed on Voi Safari Lodge, check in and have you buffet lunch. After Lunch and a short rest, you will venture out for an afternoon game drive through the vast Tsavo East National Park in search for more game animals before returning back to Voi Safari Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 2: Tsavo east – Taita Saltlick
Early morning game drives before breakfast. After breakfast, checkout and drive to Taita Hills Sanctuary with game viewing en-route. Lunch will be had a t the Taita Hills Game Lodge before being transferred to the Salt Lick Lodge. Afternoon game Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. Dinner and Overnight at the Salt Lick Lodge.
Day 3: Taita Hills (Salt Lick) Game Sanctuary – Mombasa
At 6.30 am, you will have morning game drive. Return to the lodge for full breakfast. Check out of the lodge and proceed for the final game drive as you leave the park. The last lunch will be in Voi town. After lunch, the journey takes you back to Mombasa and on the way back, there will be a chance to visit a traditional Masai village, but at an extra cost. Arrival in Mombasa will be in the evening.
