Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara

You will be picked up by your safari driver/guide from your Hotel in Arusha to drive to Lake Manyara National Park with lunch boxes. Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. Many game animals such as elephants, giraffes, baboons, zebras and buffalo. As you enter the gate, you pass into the lush forest, home to troops of baboons and blue monkeys. Buffalo and hippo lurch into the adjacent hippo pool. The vegetation eventually merges into flat topped acacia woodland where, in the heat of the day, entire prides of lion can be seen stretched on the branches of these trees, lunch in the Park then continue with game drive till later drive to African Sunrise or Olea Farm Lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, taking picnic lunches with you, drive to the Ngorongoro crater and descend down its walls for a full day crater tour. It is a thrilling experience to descend down and out of the narrow and steep crater, also the largest in the world recorded among the eight wonders of the world. Flamingoes can be seen seasonally in the Crater Lake, depending on the water level as these birds only breed in shallow water. The crater inhabits many animals, which live in the crater lunch at the picnic site and later drive back to either African Sunrise or Olea Farm Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Ngorongoro – Tarangire

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park; enjoy full day game drive in the park with picnic lunch. The park consists of natural vegetation mainly of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This African National Park is also home to three rare species of animals – the Greater Kudu, the Fringe-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings. Later drive to Tarangire Safari Lodge for dinner and Overnight.

Day 4: Tarangire – Arusha

Early morning breakfast and game drive in Tarangire National park till lunch and after lunch drive back to Arusha.
